Terms of use
Effective 17 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Cutta app. By using Cutta you agree to them.
Your videos are yours
You own what you film and the videos you make with Cutta. We claim no rights to them.
Your music and your footage
Only use songs, footage and names you have the right to use. You are responsible for getting permission from the people you film and from whoever holds the rights to the music in your video.
The free video and the full version
Your first video is free and carries a small Cutta logo. The full version is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited videos without the logo on the phone it was bought or redeemed on. Refunds for purchases follow the rules of the store you bought through. Gift codes can be used once, on one phone, and can't be exchanged for money.
Using Cutta fairly
Don't try to get around the purchase, copy or resell the app, or use it to make content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Cutta reliable, but it is provided "as is". Keep copies of anything important - we can't be responsible for footage or videos lost on your device. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or incidental damages from using the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as Cutta develops. The current version will always be on this page, with its date at the top.
